Relax after a busy day exploring our beautiful Islands. Vanby Lodge overlooks the 'Sooth Mooth' (South mouth of the Harbour), this means that every boat that enters the South Harbour will sail past Vanby's window!  You will struggle to leave the armchair with views like these!!  We spotted an Orca there yesterday but it was so quick we didn't get a photo!

We are delighted to announce that our Lerwick property will soon be available for short term let! Vanby Lodge is a dearly loved family home that has recently been refurbished.  Comprising of a kingsize room, twin room, kitchen, living room, shower room and hallways. Situated at the south end of Lerwick, Vanby Lodge has stunning coastal views of Lerwick, the harbour, Bressay and to the south.  There's a large garden and plenty of parking.  A children's play park is just across the road and the Town Centre, with all it's amenities are just a few minutes walk away.

What an incredible day with our instructor, Jason, from Sea Kayak Shetland in Ronas Voe at the North Mainland of Shetland!  We were treated to gorgeous weather crystal-clear waters, blue skies, dramatic cliffs, hidden caves and fascinating rock formations.  Along the way we were lucky enough to spot puffins, seals, guillemots and plenty of other seabirds, with sheep watching us from the hillsides.  Even the beautiful red beaches made the day extra special.  We finished the day off with a delicious meal at Frankies Fish & Chips Restaurant in Brae - a MUST if you are visiting Shetland!

Winter decorating in Holsas!

It's amazing what a roll of wallpaper and tin of paint can do!  We've been busy refurbishing the master bedroom in Holsas and the result is a beautifully decorated room!
