the ruins and old Windmill.
Both Islands are now uninhabited but according to the book, ‘Havera by Bobby Sandison’, there was a vibrant community of around 123 people in the late 1800’s and even a School!
Boat trips are still available from Scalloway but please note you will have to get out off the larger boat and be rowed ashore in a small boat 😄
